Thank you to all the parents,staff and children who supported and helped at the Summer fair. The sun shone, the band played and the school has raised over £1700 to date. 

We have to say a sad farwell to Miss Beavis and Miss McCloughlin who are leaving us at the end of the Summer Term. Thanks go to them for all their hard work during their time at Crawshawbooth School.

 

A warm welcome to Mrs Davidson, the new Deputy Headteacher, who will be joining us in September to teach in the Lower Junior Department.

The school offers a primary education to all children aged between 4 and 11.

The premises are relatively modern, being built in 4 phases from 1972 to 2003 and are set in extensive grounds in an area of great natural beauty.

The staff is committed to ensuring that high academic, social and moral standards are achieved by providing a caring, secure and stimulating environment, where each child is provided with a wealth of learning experiences in a broad and balanced curriculum.

Pet Day in the Foundation Stage

On Friday 7th May we had a 'Pet Day' in the Foundation Stage. Classes One and Two dressed up as pets and donated pet food for Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary. We even had animals in school. Mrs White brought in her horse, Mr Birtwistle brought in his dog, Mrs Perry's daughter brought in her dog, William Curry's Mum and Dad brought in their cat and rabbit and Quinn Smethurst and his Dad brought in their pet lizard.
